Amy Kramb

Overview

 Ms. Amy Kramb meets the U.S. Secretary of the Interior professional qualifications for history and architectural history as outlined in 48 FR 44716 (36 CFR Part 61). She has over 27 years of experience in cultural resources with an emphasis in history/architecture. Ms. Kramb routinely evaluates resources in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and Section 4(f) of the US Department of Transportation Act. Her experience includes supervision and completion of fieldwork for compliance surveys; performing literature reviews; writing historical contexts; assessing impacts on historic resources; proposing avoidance, minimization, and mitigation measures for historic resources; making National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility determinations; conducting Historic American Building Surveys (HABS) and Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) surveys; evaluating proposed alterations of historic buildings to ensure compliance with rehabilitation standards; completing Historic Inventory forms; and assisting local governments with administration of state historic preservation office programmatic agreements.

  • Capital University Law School, Columbus, Ohio – Juris Doctor, with a Certificate in Dispute Resolution, 2007
  • The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio – Bachelor of Arts, Majors: History and Anthropology with focus in Archaeology, 1997
