Since March 2024, Kramb has assisted the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) with meeting all requirements of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Kramb reviews proposed lead abatement projects to assess the effects of the work on historic resources. And, Kramb helps identify and complete mitigation for historic properties adversely impacted by proposed work.
Since October 2009, Kramb has served as the Historic Preservation Consultant for the City of Springfield. Kramb reviews properties proposed for demolition or rehabilitation by the City under various Federal programs, particularly those receiving Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP), and Lead Safe funds. Kramb also ensures compliance with the programmatic agreement between the City and the Ohio State Historic Preservation Office.
Since 2011, Kramb has served as an architectural historian to several engineering firms completing cultural resources reviews for cellular communication tower installations. Kramb reviews or prepares the FCC Form 620 and Form 621 documents and provides recommendations as to the effects of the proposed towers on historic resources. When proposed installations have an effect on historic resources, Kramb works with the communications provider to develop concealment designs or mitigation measures to minimize or eliminate adverse effects.
